DianHua Dictionary is a Chinese-English Dictionary application for the iPhone™. Based on CC-CEDICT, the application provides the end user the ability to search in English, Pinyin (Pin1 Yin1 or toneless), Traditional Characters, and Simplified Characters. Dictionary search results are displayed with tone-marked Pinyin, English definitions, Traditional, and Simplified characters.

DianHua Dictionary also comes with a number conversion and pronunciation module based on JSQ, LLC's number practice program, LianXiShuZi. Enter a number to have it converted to Pinyin, Simplified characters, Traditional characters, and their Anti-fraud counterparts. Touching the Help icon will take you to a basic description of Chinese numbers with pronunciation of the basic components of all Chinese numbers.

If you are learning and studying characters, whether Simplified or Traditional, DianHua Dictionary provides an enlarged view of characters for further inspection. This is especially useful when you begin to learn some of the more intricate character designs. The latest version also adds the ability to trace the numbers on the iPhone screen for further practice.
